Derby Hospital Sends Solstice Message to Pagan Employees Back

We are pleased to announce that after very friendly negotiations with the Equality and Diversity Department of the Royal Derby Hospital via the Staff Forum of Faiths, that the message “The Trust wishes its Pagan Employees a Happy Solstice" was displayed on the Trust Intranet prior to the Summer Solstice.

This was accompanied with a link to a brief educational article written by me, giving some background information on Paganism and the relevance of the Summer Solstice.

The feedback from Pagan employees based at the Royal Derby Hospital has been very positive and the actions of the Trust to portray their inclusivity have been well received.
