A warm welcome from Steve (Greenman) and Mon (The Crow) to this,

the original Lincoln housemoot, first established in 1996!

The aim of the moot was and still is simply to bring people together in friendship.

By networking and bringing individuals and different groups together, we hope to build once again a cohesive Pagan community within Lincolnshire.

The next moot is scheduled for Friday, 16th December 2011, and as well as being a social gathering, will also provide a chance to reflect spiritually on the year passed, and the year to come.

As always, food and drink is on a bring and share basis,

with the emphasis on tasty home-prepared dishes,

and Pagans of all (or no!) traditions are welcome.

Charity News ...

At the first moot, it was agreed that our nominated charity for this year would be Macmillan Cancer Support.

Therefore, at each and every gathering throughout the year we have been holding a collection. That year is almost at a close and we will be presenting a cheque to Macmillan Cancer Support after the Yule Moot.

We will be open to receiving nominations for next year's GM&C Moot for other charities. So if you have a cause close to your heart, please get in touch.

Looking Ahead ...

As part of the moot, we have been looking at different Pagan traditions, with guest speakers giving us an insight into their particular path. We have been honoured to have speakers on Shamanic Practices and Druidry to date, with Traditional Witchcraft and Heathenry still to come. We are still on the lookout for someone to speak on initiatory Wicca, of the Gardnerian or Alexandrian traditions.

The date of the next moot will be announced on the 16th December 2011.
